external images don't appear in deck preview #139

I have a few images stored on 'imgur.com' for use in slides. They appear as expected in Obsidian's preview of the markdown file itself, but not in the 'Deck Preview' created by Marp Slides. They also appear as expected in the files created by the 'Export as...' buttons at the top of the deck preview.

It would be great to be able to see them - same as with vault-local images - in the deck preview. Any advice would be very welcome.
