Special Characters in editor #20

I stumbled upon using brackets to make things italics in the editor.
(example: "this is [italics]" puts the word italics in italics.)

Are there any other special characters that might make things bold? or even 
increase or decrease the font size?

Currently the italics is the only extra feature.
