Can you please try with version 2.1 beta, available in the Download section?

Thanks for your quick response, I;ll try 2.1.
You will continue the development, right?
And if I may ask, how to get different video on different songs?

Version 2.1 changed video playback engine from GStreamer to VLC, this should
provide better performance too.

Currently we are trying to make version 2.1 stable, but usually we get little
feedback.

At this moment, Datasoul does not support different video backgrounds for
different songs.

Changed to 2.1, can add videos after that datasoul force close, and every
time I open datasoul it will force close in 5 seconds.

Did the video background issue get fixed?

I'm looking for a presentation program with live video options. Thanks

pastorchappell12, it depends a lot on your system (operating system, desktop
environemnt, VLC version, etc).

Version 2.1 should work fine if your system/version is supported.

Which operating system version do you use?
