Scrivener has a "Focus" mode in wich every tool and the whole UI is hidden, so the user can concentrate exclusively in writing. You can also do that on Rednotebook by dragging the divider to hide the calendar. I think this is a really useful feature, as it makes the experience more immersive. you could centralize the text entry space, just don't make it wider, as It's perfectly sized right now, in my opinion.
