Congratulations on your project's release, @samuelmichaud ! It's looking great so far. Are you interested in feedback? I'm sure you've got your own ideas about where to go next, and I bet they already include some of the following, but here's my list of suggestions:

• [ ] Naming: Likely confusion with existing Photon Game Manager
• [x] GLC: Set .ini to not automatically download images to CustomImages
• [ ] Scanning window: Since it's a long process, some progress feedback would be nice: "Scanning for games..." or "Downloading images..." at least; I know that since you're using GLC as your game source, further granularity is not currently possible unless you're watching stdout for dots to appear so you can report something like "Platform 1 of 19," but perhaps we can give you something better than dots if you pass a parameter?
• [ ] Scanning window: Perhaps button should be "Cancel" instead of "Close"?
• [ ] Settings: Automatic startup should be opt-in instead of opt-out
• [ ] Game screen scrolling: Add scrollbar and/or Letter tabs
• [ ] Game screen scrolling: Add paging hotkeys (Home, End, PgUp, PgDn, maybe joypad triggers and/or horizontal mousewheel)
• [ ] Game screen scrolling: Stop scrolling on digital joypad or keyboard KeyUp event
• [ ] Game screen scrolling: Gradually accelerate scroll speed while arrow key or digital joypad directional is pressed
• [ ] Game screen scrolling: Adjustable scroll speed with analog joypad directionals
• [ ] Game screen filtering: Filter results by platform or metadata
• [ ] Game screen filtering: Filter results by search term [real-time filtering as each letter is typed would be grand]
• [ ] Game screen customization: Customize image size (i.e., number of columns) e.g. with +/- keys, or Ctrl+mousewheel
• [ ] Game screen customization: Customize font size/color
• [ ] Game screen customization: Customize background

• GLC: Set .ini to not automatically download images to CustomImages => could you tell me more about this ? Not sure what it means.

For the scrolling & filtering features, I wonder how much games do you have installed on your computer ? :)

After you run GLC for the first time, one of the files it creates is glc.ini. You should package an .ini with it and set the following items:

flag_do_not_scan_not_installed_games=True
flag_image_do_not_do_deep_scan_for_icons=True
flag_image_do_not_download_missing=True

Setting these will speed up scanning and save a little disk space: With the first option set to True, GLC won't do any additional scans for games that are owned but not installed. With the second, it won't search the filesystem to find an icon. And with the third, it won't automatically download image files to the CustomImages folder.

For the scrolling & filtering features, I wonder how much games do you have installed on your computer ? :)

Yeah, I've got ~350 installed games of ~2300 owned, and that's not including emulators. But it's all just so I can help out projects like this one. 😉
