Double spaced text #51

i don't know if this is a me problem but i've noticed this behaviour on reddit only, at the moment image when installed, it shows texts double spaced

_OS: Arch Linux x8664 Kernel: 6.8.2-arch2-1

Hi @powerdoll, thanks for your report.

Reddit requests the following fonts: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, 'Apple Color Emoji', 'Segoe UI Emoji', 'Segoe UI Symbol', sans-serif. That means that if any of the fonts that come before 'Apple Color Emoji' is not installed on your system, Apple Emoji will be used to render every character.

This can be easily fixed by installing any of those fonts (e.g., ttf-roboto). You can find further fonts at https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/fonts.

Can you try that and let me know if it worked?

i reinstalled a few fonts but don't remember exactly other than segoe ui, roboto and helvetica doing that fixed it ty
