Hello dear. I am inspired by your article. I got access to the router. cool. but I ran into a problem. I wanted to install homebridge.io (node.js) on the router. but I couldn’t do it because I don’t understand how. netbsd is greatly reduced and I don’t know how to deliver packages. help me please

Once you’ve set up the scripts, you can use your attached storage device as extra storage for the server. So from there, you install node.js on the external storage, and run homebridge on it from the script system.

Looks like a really neat idea; I’m going to try converting my older Extreme to run this, to manage my smart devices.

the idea was to use the “fireproof” section of mnt / Flash as well as the hdd (volume) section or a small usb flash. but everything rests: there is no compiler and all folders are erased upon reboot. I also thought about rasbian images and its analogues installed in the mnt / Flash + startup script, but this can lead to a conflict of operating systems over the network chip resources.
