JS socket wont timeout making auto re-connection impossible if the backend is initially down

For instance:

Launching screen view just after save-for-view which re-starts the runner: the login dialog shows but logging attempts go to send nop because socket is still trying to connect.

Ended up implementing a manual close timeout and a re login timer.
