The Samvera Interest Group Advising the Hyrax Roadmap (SIGAHR) formed in early 2018, re-energizing interest in the project, welcoming many new contributors, and helping democratize the governance of Hyrax. This Slack channel and regular meetings provide an open forum for discussion of Hyrax features, calls for co-development sprints, and enable developers, managers, and users alike to discuss the direction of Hyrax. Paired with the Hyrax Working Group and leveraging the strengths of the Samvera Community, the SIGAHR is drawing a path forward, galvanizing efforts in a diverse ecosystem.
