Wii Games Won't Rip - Githubissues

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launch Wiiflow via homebrew channel
2. Select the button that says 'Install Game'
3. Put Wii disc in, then select 'Go'
4. Wiiflow will hang for about 7 seconds until the screen says 'Disc_Wait 
Failed'

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Wiiflow should have started installing my game, but it doesn't bother to read 
the disc and gives the error: 'Disc_Wait Failed'

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Black 4.3U system, running Wiiflow r433

Please provide any additional information below.
I can't recall if I installed any custom ios...trying to rip game to a 
SimpleTech 320 GB external hard drive.

I'm also having this problem after updating my Wiiflow to the last version, 
just so there is a notice of more people having this trouble.

I had this issue after an initial install clean install, just like the OP, but 
then I followed another guide and installed a bunch of iOSes, and it started 
working. Other guide was:
