oop forgot to ask – do you mean tight crops of varying proportions for all elements? So that the smaller parts of the objects are not 500x500?

hhff commented 9 years ago

it's fine if they're not 500x500, but these guys:

need to be against the edges of the crop

an FYI here is that elements 0202 and 0203 can be replicated by taking 0204 and turning it 60° and 120° which is probably simpler.

hhff commented 9 years ago

Thanks @wyethh ! Sorry If I wasn't specific enough - but can I get 0202 0203 and 0204 cropped with their "bounding circle" against the edge of the image?

I updated the dropbox folder – is that looking correct?

looks good 2 me!

I updated the two elements that had some loose pixel lines – 0102 and 0301 and have updated those in Dropbox. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/5w3zl8vxsnba7q0/AACxcVO_3J-icj1c8XWok9kba?dl=0

I'm going to be out most of tomorrow but want to make sure you have everything you need. Updated build is looking good! I know a number of things are under development so I'm only going to mention a few things.

I have an updated preview of what our target 'feel' should be (which I think we are matching) – http://dev.labour-ny.com/1508_HermanMiller/072815/HM_Eames_preview.mp4 In doing this revised version, there's a few things I realized that would help the overall experience, and that are fairly minor. • It looks like the opening box is off-center slightly to the left. • Having animated elements active when the box opens would help us – if we can have the circular elements treat the box opening as a click and be moving when the flaps open up, that really adds something. Also, I would swap the order of the first two vertical elements (0801 and 0802) so that the spinning pillar of objects is moving as well. I find that having active animation helps tell the user to investigate.

Once we get the mechanism in place so that the single, vertical, and horizontal objects don't overlap each other, we'll be in great shape. The rest is fine-tuning the figures and their ai. Is there anything else I'm missing that you might need before Sunday?

Really appreciate the work and time. Looking forward to wrapping this baby up and kicking her out of the house!

KK thankyou @wyethh ! We should have a really polished version by the end of today - stay tuned!

PS - love how snappy the box rotation is at the start!

wyethh commented 9 years ago

Awesome - I'm back in availability today. Thanks Hugh! Psyched on it.
