How to get rid of "Support Sandboxie-Plus on Patreon" Text #1519

It's amazing that in an open source project you protect that text so well.

If you try to Hex Edit it out, the app either repairs itself, or breaks completely.

Anyway, I don't want to use Patreon, but if you would like an amount of Bitcoin I could send you just to get rid of that ugly text I would be happy to do so.

Where's the text exactly? I have a support certificate and I don't see it anywhere

DavidXanatos commented 2 years ago

The text is in the menu bar on the right. And its just a boring QLabel with no protection what o ever... Anyhow if you don't like patreon you can get a supporter certificate here: https://xanasoft.com/shop/ with paypal/creditcard

Or if you want crypto which crypto? There are so many, probably something with low transaction costs.

I don't mind shooting 20$ in bitcoin over (or if you had another figure), TX fees are like 40 cents or less i pay them. I just like this this software a ALOT and want to be a donor, have that text gone without having to work for it. And bitcoin appreciates. Just hold onto it. You might be surprised.

I am living in a different country and stuck here for a number of reasons, I can't use my normal bank cards, but there are hundreds of Bitcoin ATMs everywhere. I also like giftcards, and they don't match up with IP and ZIP, so online traditional banking falls short.

Bitcoin appreciates. It's better to accept it. Trust me. Edit: I don't mind doing $50 in bitcoin. Would pay more for a lifetime license.

So you want to use the original outdated bitcoin that takes forever for a transaction to goes through and so on? Not one of the much more modern alternatives?

You don't know what you're talking about. I live in a city with hundreds of ATMs that buy and sell. You withdraw, the transaction is seen instantly and the confirmation happens between 10-20 minutes. Out pops cash. 4-7k.

The fees are in the pennies now with all the upgrades they've made. The Bitcoin economy is still very strong.

Unfortunately I cannot pay with Paypal where I am currently living.
