Default browser sandboxed

What happened?

So I checked here and didn't really find anyone touching on what I was referring to, I recently decided to move my browser to sandbox since it wouldn't run properly installed on host but forced sandbox and I moved discord as well issue is if I click a link in discord it wouldn't open brave since I can't set that as default browser on host system, any way to make it point in discord sandbox to the brave in browser sandbox? or will my only recourse be to install brave on host, add breakout on discord sandbox and force in browser sandbox and never use host version?

In a Standard isolation sandbox (yellow sandbox icon).

Where is the program located?

The program is installed only inside a sandbox (NOT in the real system anyway).

Can you reproduce this problem on an empty sandbox?

I can confirm it also on an empty sandbox.

Did you previously enable some security policy settings outside Sandboxie?

I'm sure you can edit the windows registry to instead of starting whatever it will start start.exe default_browser ...

if I knew how to do it, probably

EDIT: I found a bit about it but what’s listed in sandbox is a progid and that leads to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT which doesn’t seem to be in the registry hive so idk what I’d need to do to replicate what’s needed

Okay so I set it up to open with start.exe but it couldn't accept the --single-argument %1 parameter and just said "failed to invoke" then I put the execution to the direct sandbox location with brave.exe on forced program as well as its installed inside the sandbox folder, and it would run OUTSIDE the sandbox

I have no idea how I could help in this case, nor do I understand what this is all about.

I use this reg file to register my boxed chromium to be my default browser. Edit it with your flavor. chromium.zip
