can't log in iTunes with this version (plus0.6.0) the 5.30 was working #454

with the past version 5.30 i was able to run 2 instances of iTunes so that i could keep 2 different accounts with 2 different libraries, with the new version (plus-0.6.0) it wont let me log in and gives a bunch of errors, would be cool if you guys could reinstate that functionality

Could you write these errors here? As first approach, I would suggest to change BlockNetParam=y to BlockNetParam=n in your Sandboxie-plus sandboxie.ini and try again.

Did you overinstall the latest version? I'm asking, because this will retain the old Sandboxie.ini.

My suggestion is:

  1. Make backup of Sandboxie.ini
  2. Uninstall
  3. Check, if .ini was deleted
  4. Install
  5. Test

change BlockNetParam=y to BlockNetParam=n in your Sandboxie-plus sandboxie.ini

I've tried but unfortunately did not fix the problem

no it's a test on a virtual machine

Make backup of Sandboxie.ini | Uninstall | Check, if .ini was deleted | Test

the old sanboxie .ini was deleted and since i have both versions i tired on the sandboxiePlus0.6 (S+0.6) install with config from the Sanboxie 5.30 (S5.30) Templates.ini(S+0.6) & Sandboxie.in(S+0.6) => not working Templates.ini(S5.30) & Sandboxie.in(S+0.6) => not working Templates.ini(S+0.6) & Sandboxie.in(S5.30) => not working Templates.ini(S5.30) & Sandboxie.in(S5.30) => not working

please try what is the last working version without that information ist really difficult to find the issue.

this app cant run on your PC: v5.41.1

if you guys have the versions from 5.30 to 5.40 I can try them too

hey @NewKidOnTheBlock just tried w 5.47.1 and same problem, the app opens but does no log in.

is there a way for me to send u a report of the 5.30 doing the login and the 5.47.1 failing the login so that we can do some sort of comparison?

Hmm. I'd test it, but I don't have an itunes or apple account.

@NewKidOnTheBlock maybe I can provide remote access to a machine and set up the test if you are interested, or if you want you can explain to me what to do and I can provide the data

@jay-Sjay there were soem issues introduced between 5.30 and 5.33 that may explain your troubles. Please test if the latest build 0.7.0/5.48.0 fixes this
