CodeMirror: XML mode #57

After having installed concerto we try to run a test that had worked on the 
demo server. We are in the test tab:

test (edit mode) 

we click 'begin' 

and get the page as displayed in the attachment.

test session state lists 'initialising'

We use concerto 4.0.0, beta7 on a Suse Linux Enterprise Server version 11, with 
SP 2

We do not find a way to change either'htmlMode' nor 'alignCDATA'.

a) do we have to change something at all concerning those two flags?
b) our directories /concerto/CodeMirror and /concerto/codemirror are both 
empty. Did something run foul during the installation?

Concerto is a great product; we are very eager to test it in production. The 
problem on the demo server was that response time was very slow (8sec until a 
page displayed).

All hints and tipps are appreciated,
