DSMR crashing all the time #30

Closed robbinonline closed 2 years ago

robbinonline commented 2 years ago

I just switched DSMR from a raspberry Pi to HA OS on my Synology and restore a backup with historical data. Now DSMR is crashing and rebooting like every few minutes.

How to turn on debugging or any idea what's wrong?

Really no clue, can be a lot of things. Maybe you can post your issue here https://community.home-assistant.io/t/dsmr-reader-add-on-for-home-assistant/279087/165 as i'm undergoing surgery tomorrow and it will take a while before i get back. Maybe somebody can help. I think it will be helpful if you post a little more details, like the full log and how you did the backup/restore.

Hi Robin, maybe you can test the new beta version? Steps are here: https://community.home-assistant.io/t/dsmr-reader-add-on-for-home-assistant/279087/180?u=sanderdw

Hassio or Hass OS on Synology Docker is not supported anymore for a long time already. I'ts best to switch to the HASS Docker images https://hub.docker.com/r/homeassistant/home-assistant

Aside your HASS Docker container you need to run DSMR reader for Docker: https://hub.docker.com/r/xirixiz/dsmr-reader-docker

Hope this helps.
