Well, I was successful in solving this problem. Apparently, I have downloaded
the
wrong version of the iso (liveandroidv0.2usb.iso.001 and
liveandroidv0.2usb.iso.002)
which freezez. But using the correct iso (liveandroidv0.2iso.001 and
liveandroidv0.2.iso.001) it boots just fine. Could you mention which iso you
used?

I'm not sure what the definition of "Splash screen" is - I get the cute little
Android picture briefly (I think that's it
- yes? See "live android" below) followed by a window with a black background
and the word ANDROID spelled
out in a modernistic block letter font - that pulses indefinitely (at least 24+
hours) without ever transitioning
into the O.S. - see "android" below. Also the boot sequence echo is shown in
"boot sequence"

Why don't you try the iso of Android-x86 project. It's much better than
live-android.
They also have very nice screenshots in their websites.
