Blade pitch from geometry is halved in ElementData #57

Hi all! I am working on a new VAWT concept (X-Rotor) to characterise its aerodynamic behaviour. In the two cases I am simulating, I am comparing data between zero-pitch and 20-degree pitched blades (attached JPG images).

However, after running the simulations, if I isolate the angle of attack data from the simulations, I see that the pitch offset is only half of the requested 20 degrees (attached plot). This results in wrong values of power and thrust for the pitched case. But it outputs accurate results for the no-pitch case.

I have tried to see if the data is being halved while calculating the forces from the polars, but it doesn’t seem to be the case, else the no-pitch case results would be bad.

Any input would be great!
