Make some physical examples

For making examples of physical systems, it would be helpful to run some simulations. I would like to serve the dual purpose of implementing those simulations using rust crates (even if they require non-rust backends). Here are some sample crates:

• [ ] https://faer-rs.github.io/ (2D only, I believe) Here are some sample systems:
• [x] Buffon Needle Experiment/Monte Carlo to calculate pi
• [ ] Gray-Scott (Python implementation here: https://github.com/cselab/gray-scott/blob/master/python/gray_scott.py) Start without MPI, then try adding it.
