Remove gain and input_gain parameters. Make amplitude a property, and change allowed range to [0.004, 5.0]

Fixes #129 for Stanford830.

need to see why status of checks is not being reported before pulling.

was passing all checks, just having dilemma with versioning affected status checks receiving responses when workflows completed.
