Just opening an issue to note that there's still a TODO in part 3:

By the way, the new explanations and examples in part 3 are great! I found them very entertaining. :+1:

Just a heads up to everyone to still not touch part-3.ipynb until I finish. It's undergoing major changes. In the interim, use this issue to post anything Part 3-related.

I'll get back to working on this at 10pm tonight after my woodworking class.

Only Part 3 is slide-based, and I'll make sure it's as repeat-teachable as the rest. Once I'm done with my slides:

I'll put the slides and accompanying files here, all in easily viewable formats
I'll put instructions into the part-3.ipynb explaining to the facilitator/students how to use the slides and accompanying files
I'll remove any duplication from part-3.ipynb if already covered in slides

The only reason Part 3 is slides is because it is .py file-based, because:

Functions don't demo well at the REPL (see #7)
Explanations about running .py files in an ipynb are unclear to both facilitators and students who are trying to follow along. See attempt 1 and attempt 2. The ipynb magics are confusing to students, and it's near impossible to tell the students "Ignore the fact that the filename changes in the instructions, just keep adding lines to the same file."

This should not affect the live demo nature of Parts 1, 2, and 4.

Also, @alaindomissy if you feel nervous about Part 3 due to the format or unconventional structure, remember that you do not have to type and can simply go around and make sure everyone is following :)

Everyone, please give me space to finish from this point on. Please hold off on all Part 3 critiques/enhancements like this so that I can actually get this done. I've got this covered, trust me.

Stayed up late last night and made good progress on the slides. I'll continue after work today, 6pm-ish.
