Do you have a precision/recall estimate for the matching process?

• articles are matched by DOI so the precision there should be absolute. But do you perform any DOI cleanup, eg to remove http://doi.org, remove doi:, convert to lowercase (eg both eLife and ELIFE resolve, so imho DOIs are case-insensitive)
• authors (within one publication) are matched "when the Levenshtein distance between author names is above 0.8".
  • For recall: does this handle first name/initial (eg "J.Smith" vs "John Smith")?
  • For precision: are there co-authors with matching names? Eg Joe Smith and J.A.Smith may well be different co-authors
