Mark as read does not work on Samsung Note 3 #373

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Receive an SMS
2. issue mar command

What is the expected output?
SMS should be marked as read

What do you see instead?
SMS is not marked as read

Even with original sms apps or other sms apps. 

Android 4.4 stock on samsung Galaxy Note 2
