Hi I've just discovered these new scripts for chado (from https://github.com/bioconda/bioconda-recipes/pull/10465), it's great! Since a few months we've worked on another python module named python-chado. It allows to query and load data into a chado database, using an autmatically built chado dump and a chado docker image. Are you aware of it? A few features are maybe redundant but I think the 2 modules are complementary. If you're interested maybe we could work together?

Hi @andrewjpage @puethe! Great to see you working on this as well! What about having a TC at some point and present the different libraries and aims to each other to see how all fits together.

Let us now!

Hi there, that looks interesting! Nice to see we're not the only ones dealing with chado access. Our product is still in a very young stage, we plan to develop it further in the next few weeks/months, mostly tailored to the chado setup used at the Sanger institute. Would be nice to have a chat indeed. Due to conferences and leave we're pretty booked for the next month, but I'll get back to you by the end of September.
