A new dashboard (Sample Tracking V2) available to be tested: https://globalreporting.internal.sanger.ac.uk/#/views/SampleTrackingV2/SampleTrackingv2?:iid=1

Thanks Sabrine. Looks good. I'm away tomorrow so I just wanted to note that the last column header appears to be missing?

Also, is there a way to make the column headers multi-line?

Thank you for testing it, Tom.

The last column in the Tableau Dashboard is a mark column added by default in Tableau. We use it to display all the information related to that row. Typically, marks do not have a column name. There is a workaround to provide a column name when the measure values are composed of only one value (which is not applicable in our case). Alternatively, we can remove this column if it's not necessary.

Regarding multi-line headers, Tableau does not support wrapping text within headers or cells directly. The only available option is to increase the column width manually.

Thanks Sabrine.

Regarding the mark column. I think my question is how meaningful is the column to users ? If it doesn't convey anything meaningful then I think we should remove it.

It is intended to improve readability for end users (the user can read the row values from the far right column). I am not sure how helpful this is, but I included it in the new report because it existed in the original one. I am happy to remove it if necessary.
