Specify which sides the chart border is visible #292

In CSS you can tell things which border top/bottom/right/left you want 
visible, or which has properties set. I noticed that flot has 
grid.borderWidth but you cannot set a specific side. This seems to do with 
the canvas border draw command is set rectangle. It could instead set 4 
lines with specific properties.

I think that it would be nice to allow flot to show or hide sides. I like 
the way that google charts does the border, with the top border missing. See 
the attached screenshot. It would be nice if flot could do that as well.

Yeah, it's not very configurable right now.

I agree. I was surprised I couldn't have a graph with just the axes, but have 
to have it stuck in a box (although I made well have misunderstood something).

I want this feature too! :) Currently I cannot style the graph to match the 
styling of all the other graphs on my site :(
