Do not close the application after a crash in my test case

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I want to move forward and continue my test case

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
2.1 windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.
So I would like to know if it is possible to not close the application after a 
crash. I am doing testing on Android applications with Robotium and I would 
like the code that would allow me to continue my test when there is a crash.
