Dataset focus is lost when using mouse

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Draw a chart with two datasets
2. Click on one of the datasets to focus on it. The other one dims.
3. Pan/zoom using the mouse

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The focused dataset should preserve the focus. Instead, the dimmed dataset 
becomes undimmed. Note that in Flash, it takes 2 pans to reproduce.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest source.

Please provide any additional information below.
When using the keyboard the behavior is correct.
