GWT designer crashes Eclipse #194

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Creation of a new Google Web Application Project, with sample code, which
runs correctly.
2. Opening it with the GWT-Designer brings up the Java code correctly.
3. A try to select the Design tab crashes Eclipse.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I see nothing after that. Eclipse is gone

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Ubuntu 13.04, eclipse-jee-juno-SR2-linux-gtk, Java1.7, GWT2.5.1

Please provide any additional information below.
Used to work in Ubuntu 12.04. I have attached a portion of the log file.

Thanks a lot! This fix works great for Eclipse 4.2.2! It did not work for my
issue
(https://code.google.com/p/google-plugin-for-eclipse/issues/detail?id=224) with
Eclipse 4.3 though.

It would be great to get this patch into the GPE, WindowBuilder, or GWT, which
one does it actually need to go into?
