Otherwise, one might be fooled, hyped or waste time in a wrong direction, and the sunk-cost-fallacy bias also becomes more probable.

I already do this, for example

  1. Justifying need of ML/AI instead of usual programming.
  2. Minimizing actuators and sensors for a task if a simple mechanical device is possible.

Note: Hype/social dynamics vs framestorming, are not a part of core PVS.

It's part of anti-malware or probable short term acts, that I hate to do anyway.
