One thing is true, I have knowledge to create apps (viz programming). But am very short on domain knowledge - basic science that is actionable.

I always thought of software engineering that I studied as 'running away from domain knowledge', and just focusing on app development, which is good as a separation of concern, but should never be the sole motivation in any business.
