This happened today

Basically, I got super frustrated by manually adjusting curtains, and controlling lights using the switch board. This might seem immaterial. But it's significant, I had ~4 active desktop windows. These activities (done regularly) really hampered with the flow, wires got mangled etc. Significant context switch cost, especially with delivery recieving, curtains where you have to (see).

I tried to buy a "smart bulb", but it only works with Alexa, Echo or Google Assistant hardware. Seems expensive if used only for a bulb.

Need a whole interaction ecosystem for home controlled "smart" devices.

Task (for now): Small interesting task - run a web server on Arduino that controls a switch (using a relay).

Don't have an actuator though. Input is me, so no sensor needed.
