Changing Virtual Desktops on Builtin Screen and External Screen #12

There is an annoying feature which could be corrected.

If you switch with the 4-finger swipe it changes the ""screen"" I'm in, which is GOOD, it's a cool feature.

But, if I have an external monitor connected, the animation affects both monitors...

Expected behaviour

external-screen-1 builtin-screen-1

4-finger swipe when mouse is focused on the builtin monitor

external-screen-1 builtin-screen-2

Current behaviour

external-screen-1 builtin-screen-1

4-finger swipe when mouse is focused on the builtin monitor

external-screen-2 builtin-screen-2

I mean windows put this animation back into the OS.. so is this software still even being developed? Feels like it should be obsolete now.

Skyyblaze commented 1 month ago

Since when did Windows put these back in? I'm on 23H2 and still don't see them.

Almost a year ago. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/windows-11-updated-virtual-desktop-animation/f04f877d-e868-48c1-b8c1-137bc32a13f0

@DesktopMasters Interesting, I still don't see them and I'm using 23H2, although maybe Wallpaper Engine might be at fault here.

Try searching your settings for "Visual Effects" and make sure "Animation Effects" is turned on. If not.. turn it on and reboot.

Skyyblaze commented 1 month ago

@DesktopMasters No dice, everything is enabled but I see no animation when using WIN+CTRL and the arrow keys, also not with Wallpaper Engine disabled.
