Merging contact us and other social media icons neatly into one footer

I would like to make the footer better looking by putting contact us in one column and product,legal links neatly in another column which will give it a more organised look. In brief I would make one footer which will enhance the website multiple folds. Can I be assigned to it under hacktober label?
