Thanks for mentioning the oversight. The 'Home' link is on the Basic Display and List Display, but was missing on the Advanced Search Display. Have added for PWG Advanced Search, and will add to the Advanced Search pages of other dictionaries as time goes by.
img id="unilogo" src="../images/cologne_univ_seal.gif" alt="University of Cologne" width="60" height="60" Should have a link to www.sanskrit-lexicon.uni-koeln.de - would it not be enough to have a clickable logo?
Namaste "a clickable logo?" Sure, but with a "Home" indication would be better. Something like when you put mouse on logo- it appears "Home" and clicking on it, takes you home. For Eg. see this Vachaspatyam page- http://www.sanskrit-lexicon.uni-koeln.de/scans/VCPScan/2013/web/index.php There is not even Cologne name on it!! If I happen to land on it, tampering the URL is the only way left to me to reach home.
Just for fun, I made the logo on http://www.sanskrit-lexicon.uni-koeln.de/scans/VCPScan/2013/web/index.php clickable.
So now there are two variants:
The 'clickable logo' as above,
and a 'Home' text link as in
http://www.sanskrit-lexicon.uni-koeln.de/scans/PWGScan/2013/web/webtc2/index.php
To my eye, either is functional, and therefore acceptable.
It's not clear that one is better than the other. What do you think?
Logo is a home link on 90% websites. Separate home link was a trend in 1994. It's not anymore in 2014, but could be of use for elder people. That's my experience.

Please add a link back home.
Namaste Please give a home button on every dictionary page- for eg.- http://www.sanskrit-lexicon.uni-koeln.de/scans/PWGScan/2013/web/webtc2/index.php that would take us to this page- http://www.sanskrit-lexicon.uni-koeln.de/ This is easiest -I think.
