hyphenated word markup #386

It was suggested (see) that the Cologne digitizations should implement, in a uniform way, the resolution of hyphenated text.

I've approached this in a few isolated cases, and in different ways. The most recent attempt was with the lbinfo xml-style markup of ap90 dictionary. For example,

<lbinfo n="adjec+tives"/>
<lbinfo n="agni#hotra"/>

This would be applicable to the digitizations which currently honor the lines of the printed text (types 1-4 in the first comment).

Should this markup style be adopted when this task is undertaken? Are there other possible markup solutions which should be considered?
