6 years ago Since specifying model and stem for the 'm' and 'f' parts of lexnorm terms is completely identical to that in #20, no further discussion here is needed.
We only need consider the various feminine forms.
- f This is handled as in #20. There is only two cases, with citations sanutf and saM_niDAtf; they were not handled in previous filter of #20, because they also have another feminine form ending in 'trI'.
- f#f This is alternate MW notation for just f. Only in sapta-svasf
- f#U The model is f_U (as vaDU) and the stem is formed by replacing the final short 'u' of the citation with the long vowel 'U' (24 cases)
- f#trI The model is f_I (as nadI) and the stem is formed by replacing the final 'tf' by 'trI'. For example, anuBartf -> anuBartrI. 34 cases)
- There are several variations on this 'trI' theme. These are declined after model f_I (as nadI). Stems are;
- f#rI. parivezwf -> parivezwrI, rabDf -> rabDrI
- f#attrI attf -> attrI
- f#zwrI jozwf -> jozwrI
- f#wrI yazwf -> yazwrI
- f#yantrI yantf -> yantrI
- f#sanutrI sanutf -> sanutrI
- f#I model is f_I. 1 case. varDayitf presumably has a feminine stem as varDayitI.
- f#A model is f_A. Stem derived by replacing final 'f' with 'A'. 2 cases. manotf -> manotA, and suketf -> suketA
- f#metA model is f_A. stem is metA (1 case, citation metf)

This deals with the rest of the nominals ending in vowel 'f' (vocalic r), and continues #20.
There are 46 such records in lexnorm-all2 ending in 'f' and not yet accounted for.
As with #21, the primary task here is to identify stem and model for non-default feminine forms.
Since the number (46) is small, all the model-stem interpretations are written to a file, model_mfn_f1.
