There are slightly over 300 instances of text marked as <lang n="greek">X</lang> in pwg.txt. This issue document two small changes in these instances:

X a single letter - refer this issue comment
X ends with punctuation

This work done in misc/greek directory.

X a single letter.

Here the change is <lang n="greek">X</lang> -> X -- i.e., remove the lang markup. See change_1.txt. Two cases:

X a subsection reference. This are indicated by 'type=section label' (38 cases).
- Also include cases where X is 2 letters YZ and Z is punctuation.
X a 'star' name, or a part of a star name (8 cases) I was less certain about removing the lang markup, but did so anyway.

remove ending punctuation

Here <lang n="greek">XY</lang> -> <lang n="greek">X</lang>Y, where Y is punctuation, one of the 5 characters ,.:;). About 200 lines changed.
