Both print error and tagging error.

¯ed.Bomb@aYcana@*aYcana@1426:¯ed.Bomb:n:New resource. Actually this inherits 'R.' (for rAmAyaRa) from its predecessor.

This is a generic issue. In the present case, the tag ¯ed.Bomb actully inherits ¯R. from its predecessor. It would therefore stand for rAmAyaRa ed. Bomb.

Right now marking it as a nochange entry till we decide how to tackle it.

I am not sure how we should tackle such cases. Maybe @thomasincambodia would be the best person to throw light on how they handled such instances.

@gasyoun Please read the German. It seems that this is not a reference.

This issue turns out to be very tricky. All are different deep questions. 64

¯MALLIN. ‹zu› ¯KIR.@aparicita@aparicita@6129:¯MALLIN.‹zu›KIR.:t:I am also not sure. This is a new reference. How to deal with commentaries reference is something I need to understand.

@thomasincambodia How do we treat references like 'mallinATa on kirAtArjunIyam' ? The first is a person, but by the whole reference we get to understand 'mallinATa's commentary on kirAtArjunIyam'.

See capture

@funderburkjim In my opinion, the whole phrase should be considered a single reference. I think, because of intervening ‹zu› and ¯ of ¯KIR, we are getting two different references in pw.xml like <ls>MALLIN.</ls> <noti>zu</noti> <ls>KIR.3,2,21.</ls>.

As this issue is full of tricky questions, I close submissions in this issue here.

@gasyoun @thomasincambodia Could 'zk lesen' in item 63 above be a print error for 'zu lesen' = 'to read' ?

funderburkjim commented 8 years ago

re 65 ¯GAUT.A7PAST.°

In addition to your correction, I'm viewing this as two references:

funderburkjim commented 8 years ago

Here's the current way these are handled; refer to #27 for explanation of categories.

  1. Typos/Print errors. These changes have not been installed yet

    ¯KA7C2.¯ZN. ¯P.@vEBujAgnaka@*vEBujAgnaka@107816:¯KA7C2. ‹zu› ¯P.:p:'u' typeset wrong as 'n'. Also wrong tagging.
; ejf: Could 'zk lesen' be a typo for 'zu lesen' = 'to read' ?
¯ZK ‹lesen›)@sku@sku@130331:‹zk lesen›):t:Not sure. But this is not a reference.
¯GAUT.A7PAST.° #{pAvana}@paNktipAvana@paNktipAvana@61743:¯GAUT. ¯A7PAST. #{°pAvana}:t:The item belongs to the next Devanagari sub entry. Also, two references
  2. Add to pwbib_new

Adding to pwbib_new will remove this from our worry list for now.
We may have to revisit how to handle this
¯ed.Bomb@aYcana@*aYcana@1426:¯ed.Bomb:n:New resource. Actually this inherits 'R.' (for rAmAyaRa) from its predecessor.

Similar rationale as above for putting this in pwbib_new for now. It is
currently not clear whether there is a better solution.

¯MALLIN. ‹zu› ¯KIR.@aparicita@aparicita@6129:¯MALLIN.‹zu›KIR.:t:I am also not sure. This is a new reference. How to deal with commentaries reference is something I need to understand.
