The pwbib_parse0.py program was revised to improve the 'title' field for a certain subset of about 90 records); these are the records that have a 'type' of 'xx' in pwbib1.txt.
Essentially, in these records, the printed bibliography (as digitized in pwbib0.txt) does not distinguish the abbreviation in the same obvious way as most other records.
The program currently makes no change to the abbreviation, but adjusts the title by merging the abbreviation (first word of pwbib0.txt record) with the rest of the record.
Incidentally, it is likely that some of the abbreviations also should be adjusted.
For instance, in pwbib_unused.txt, one sees KA7TJ(A7JANA), which comes from
this line of pwbib0.txt:
.KA7TJ(A7JANA) nach Citaten in verschiedenen juristischen Werken(JOLLY). (vol. 3)
The possible adjustment would be to take 'KA7TJ' as the abbreviation. If this adjustment were made, then this abbreviation in vol 3 would be the same as an abbreviation from vol. 4:
KĀTYĀYANA'S PARIBH (ĀṢĀS) IN 'Zwölf Hymnen des Rigveda, herausgegeben von ERNST WIDISCH'S. 169. fgg. (vol. 4)
It may be that
the vol3 reference is ultimately the one intended in the entries for dviBArya, nirAkartar, nirAkfti of volume 3.
