On a close observation, seen that most of those I looked at are from Sāyaṇabhāṣya to the resp. Rks, thus cannot be found in the RV text or the European translations.
This reminds me of my earlier post mentioning the need to link to the commentaries wherever they are cited. [pwk has ~10% of such commentary citations, in case of ṚV.]
There are about 1400 references in pwk to specific RV verses. Would it be a good task for @AnnaRybakovaT to track these down via Marcis RV, and mark those 'not found'?
Why bother her, @funderburkjim ?
We can just look for zu <ls>ṚV. [0-9]+
(140 cases), out of <ls>ṚV. [0-9]+
(1263 cases)
The very first occurrence at aDvaryu HW is unlinked.
And the next occurrence at amAraka HW has
whose link gives
which does not contain the cited word anywhere!!
However, one can clearly see the cited word in the commentary portion (which is what the pwk mentions)
Perhaps change markup ?
OLD
<ls>SĀY.</ls> zu <ls>ṚV. 10,61</ls>`
NEW
<ls>SĀY. zu ṚV. 10,61</ls>
I did exactly the same in my version!! [Recall my earlier post that our wavelengths match many a time.]
Just noticed that many of ṚV citations in pwk do not tally with the text at ṚV links provided by @gasyoun which are being used as link targets at CDSL.
@gasyoun, did you notice this ever?
The bibliography says they are from Roth's copy, which has to be traced out to get proper ṚV links in pwk.
