855 matches in 847 lines for "\b[a-z]+. [a-z]" in buffer: temp_mw.txt`

While many of these (such as <ab>pr. p.</ab> need no change, there are quite a few needing a similar change of period to comma.

Maybe someone can volunteer to examine these and provide the corrections, perhaps as a tab-separated file with 3 columns: L\told\tnew, e.g., 162843\tproof. demonstration\tproof, demonstration.
