Lag for time update #145

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
With this latest update, I'm noticing the time isn't updating quickly. I've
noticed the clock on your app is off from the actual time. This wasn't an issue
before your latest update.

I have a Galaxy Nexus, running 4.2.1.

Working on this.
Does v1.0.3 reduces this?

Hello,

still freezes, especially when recharging... for at least 20 s

previous version made me reboot the device while recharging if I wanted to take back control.

try to completely uninstall, reboot and re-install again.
it seems that experience a different issue - the previous one - was 3-5
seconds when resuming from standby.
Anyway - you can try 1.0.4 (unpublished yet), see if it helps.

The current workaround is to hide the clock and reboot, the app should work
smoothly afterwards.
I'm still working for a solution.

finally found the problem and fixed.
I'm keeping it for testing few more hours before updating on Google Play.
If you want - you can try it here:

Hi, installed 1.0.4.2 and it appears to have resolved the lag problem. However,
the phone screen now turns itself on randomly without any incoming
notifications. Noticed it twice today but I'm not sure if the thing turns
itself on when in my bag.

Keep up the good work! :)

I think it is related to google now cards.
I saw a ticket about that earlier today and indeed, google now cards does wake
the device but the notification doesn't come to NiLS ... I'm not surprised it
doesn't come to NiLS because it doesn't notify me either by default in the
notification center ... it just leaves a discreet message you won't see unless
you slide down the notification bar.

For NiLS, I suggest you find a way to ignore them or cat them to let us ignore
them :)
