Home screen widget appearance wrong bug

The home screen widget is taking the appearance of the lock screen expanded 
widget and not the home widget appearance. Nexus 4, Android 4.2.2

How to reproduce: Add a widget to both lock screen and home screen, go to 
appearance settings and customise both the home and lock screen expanded 
widgets, go back to home screen, the home screen widget and I'll have 
appearance supposed to be set for the lock screen expanded widget.

There is a know hug with determination whatever the widget is placed on home 
screen, the workaround is simple - resize the home screen widget and it will 
use the home screen appearance settings after resizing.

I have attempted to do this but the issue still remains, I am using Go
launcher if this is the cause of the problem?

I have the same issue, but on Android 4.1.1.
I tried with Nova Launcher, and Lightning Launcher too, so the problem is 
probably not the launcher.
And I also tried to resize the widget, which has no effect.

on android 4.1.1 - there is no way to know if a widget is placed on lock screen 
or on home screen. so it always uses "LS Expanded" preset.

on android 4.2.2 - it might be a launcher issue. but I haven't tested it.
