Add some sort of activity logging #26

We should use a system to track user activity. This will allow us to analyze
clickstreams, popular
pages, click through, and more.

I use Google Analytics on a few sites and I think it's great. They acquired the
product a few years
ago and developed it nicely. It has all sort of charts and graphs and the like.
Plus it's free.

Another option that look really slick is Crazy Egg. The have lots of tracking,
but also heat maps! I
suspect the required javascript is not as lightweight as Google's product, but
the visualizations
are great. It's also not free, for what I think we would need, but it's
affordable.

There are other systems, including straight up Apache log processing. My
opinion, however, is
that some like Google Analytics provides more data and better views of the
data. I'm sure there
are other non-Google products as well that do just as good of a job.

FYI Patrick, I gave you access to the Google Analytics reports for the Delphi
project site on Google Code. I believe
it only tracks the "Project Home" page.

Patrick to investigate the analysis support provided with the webfarm for
Delphi. If
this is sufficient, we will rely on that for Release 1 of PAHMA deployment.
Otherwise, we will revisit.

Upping severity and prio, as tagging and interestingness features will depend
upon
having this.

Having looked at WebFarm stats, we are not getting what we need (stats based
upon
query values, not just URLs).

We get something from the objects for which details are viewed, but that is not
really enough. We need to know categories of interest. This cannot be done on
the
WebFarm. It may be doable on Google analytics, but will take some coding, and is
likely to be hard (e.g., for multiple categories). We'll probably have to
develop
some local solution to this.
