What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.install the extension
2.create a profile (HTTP Proxy: 172.16.1.254 and Port:8080)
3.create a profile (HTTP Proxy: 172.16.1.254 and Port:8888)
4.Switch between profiles and direct connection

What is the expected output?
Proxy not switched.

What do you see instead?
Using the direct connection or the profile makes no difference when viewing
filtered webpages. Switchy icon grayed.

Switchy version: 1.6.3

curiously, my xp box can load this plugin after upgrade chrome to 5.0.335.1 
dev. but 
win2003 still not work.

Same issue here:

OS: FreeBSD 8.1
Browser: Chromium 6.0.472.63
Switchy: 1.6.3

If I select the Switchy "Not working properly" menu option, the log shows:

[12:12:34] [error] - Plugin not loaded!

And if I select a proxy I've placed on localhost:8080, the log shows this:

Based on the error posted above by others, it seems that all the error log is 
showing now is failures, not reasons.  We need additional debugging for Switchy.

A few people have reported errors relating to writing files.  Is this there 
some other way we can dig in to this deeper?

Well, I uninstalled Switchy and then reloaded it and the issue seems to have 
resolved... although I can no longer use Firefox.  No idea why.

Delete switchy in C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User 
Data\Default\Extensions and reinstall will fix it!
