syntax error at line 1, column 0, byte 0 at SDB/Install/Configuration/ExternalProgramConfiguration.pm line 80. #23634

Hello guys,

I was try to install SAP Hana DB Express Edition and when I run the installer shown me the following error:

Installing components... Installing SAP HANA AFL (incl.PAL,BFL,OFL)... Resume of SAP HANA Express Edition Installation failed Cannot detect command line options dynamically. Cannot parse external program configuration: syntax error at line 1, column 0, byte 0 at SDB/Install/Configuration/ExternalProgramConfiguration.pm line 80.

Log file written to '/var/tmp/hdb_HXE_hdblcm_install_2024-07-18_21.31.16/hdblcm.log' on host 'hana'.

Failed to install HDB server.

Summary after execution Server Installation...(FAIL) XSC Installation...(NOT STARTED) HXE Optimization...(NOT STARTED)

The installer file log does't show more details about this issue. I found this note that describe exactly the same error that I have, but I can't see more details cuz I losed my SAP account.

Any help I'll appreciete. Obed

I have elimiated all installation and download again the drivers then I trying again and works.
