I can but resolution will only come when I find out how the system works, currently I have no idea, need some handover documents first :-)
Update: I have no access myself, but have alerted the system owner and asked them to take a look.

Please specify the step you are referring to password reset
the password reset email doesn't get sent immediately, but other sap.com access gets invalidated, e.g. with this message: "500 We’re sorry, but something went wrong. If you are the application owner check the logs for more information."
