A translator who is working on a Russian translation did the following:
He wrote a small php script that reads phpMyAdmin localization files
("po-files") and generates phpLiteAdmin language-files from these.
As phpMyAdmin and phpLiteAdmin share lots of GUI-texts, this already translates
about 30% of the texts (without help docs). Compatibility can probably be
improved so we achieve more.
This automatic generation may already yield language packages that translate
the most important stuff and might therefore be already usable. In any case it
will be a great help to reduce the work of translators.
phpMyAdmin po-Files:

The code that I have been sent including the automatically generated
phpLiteAdmin lang-files is attached.
I deleted the po-files from the zip-archive because they are not so small
(quota here is 50 MB for all issue-attachments, so not much space). So download
them from the link above and drop them in the "po"-directory.
