need to use a font that supports Unicode better; specifically ❯ #13

https://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/droid-sans-mono

currently using Source Code Pro at work

try a few different ones to find the best one

see if I can get away with using smaller than size 12 font (previously this caused problems with the agnoster theme in oh-my-zsh, the right chevron character was taller than the rest of the line; hmm, it doesn't seem to be a problem right now)

vertical and horizontal character spacing seems to be good at 100% each

how to incorporate the Solarized Dark theme in iTerm in the repo?

add Powerline fonts: https://github.com/powerline/fonts/blob/master/install.sh

add a note on the readme about the symbols being images, not Unicode symbols

echo "\ue0b0 \u00b1 \ue0a0 \u27a6 \u2718 \u26a1 \u2699"
